Noam Chomsky is the most frequently quoted person on the planet. He is an MIT Professor of Linguists, philosopher, cognitive scientist, logician, historian, political critic, and activist.
Dr. Chomsky’s work in linguistics provided the underlying theory used to implement modern computer compilers. In other words, his work gave rise to higher-level computer languages on which the Internet is built.
