Celebrity Panel 

Led by warrior mom, Jenny McCarthy, the celebrity panel includes Jacqueline & Chris Laurita from the Real Housewives of New Jersey and Alexis Wineman, Miss Montana 2012.

 

New York Times best-selling author, autism advocate and TV host Jenny McCarthy is the proud mother of Evan, who was diagnosed with autism in 2005. Jenny is a board member of Generation Rescue and has written several books on her experience with autism including Louder Than Words: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Autism and Mother Warriors: A Nation of Parents Healing Autism Against All Odds.

Jacqueline Laurita of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is a licensed cosmetologist and mother of three, including Nicholas, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of two. Since then Jacqueline has become a proud advocate for autism and currently has her own column in Parenting magazine titled, “My New Normal,” through which she shares her experiences in raising a child with autism.

Alexis Wineman is currently the reigning Miss Montana 2012 and was diagnosed with pervasive development disorder, a form of autism, at age 11.  She participated in the 2012 Miss America pageant and was able to reach the Top 15, winning the America's Choice Award. Alexis has been accepted at the University of Montana and will pursue a degree in Art Therapy in the fall of 2013 after her reign.

Chris Laurita of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is the current president and CEO of blk Beverages. Along with his wife, Jacqueline, he has been an advocate for autism since his son Nicholas was diagnosed with autism at the age of two.
