Biography
Katie Weisman is the mother of identical triplet boys who all have autism as the result of mercury poisoning. She is the Executive Director of The Canary Party and is on the Board of SafeMinds. She also chairs a local support group for spectrum parents and has worked on state and federal legislation. She lives in Mount Kisco, New York.

Congressman Dave Weldon, MD (R-FL)

Congressman Darrell Issa serves as the current Chair of the House Oversight and Reform Committee. Congressmen Burton and Weldon, MD helped define the modern autism movement. Their pursuit of truth validated the vaccine connection, pointing to the corruption of the CDC as the cause. Congressman Posey continues the fight to find answers. They talk about Congress' role and what you can do to help. This is an hour presentation followed by 30 minutes of Q&A.

Biography

A seven-term Congressman, Dr. Weldon retired from the House of Representatives in 2008. A physician, Dr. Weldon was a key member of the House Government Reform Committee that investigated vaccines and autism. He was a founding member of the Congressional Autism Caucus and his work helped pave the way for continued investigations. He remains committed to helping the community and delivered the keynote at AutismOne in 2004.

Alexis Wineman is currently the reigning Miss Montana 2012 and was diagnosed with pervasive development disorder, a form of autism, at age 11. She participated in the 2012 Miss America pageant and was able to reach the Top 15, winning the America's Choice Award. Alexis has been accepted at the University of Montana and will pursue a degree in Art Therapy in the fall of 2013 after her reign.

Autistic children have a wide range of complex neurologic developmental problems with concurrent gut
related problems with frequent allergic response from foods and environmental toxins. Unrecognized
parasite infections may play an important role for an atypical allergic response, behavioral problems,
and may exacerbate autistic behaviors. Acupuncture Meridian Assessment as a new Biometric
evaluation to detect hidden parasite problems will be covered.

Biography

Dr. Yu graduated from University of Missouri at Columbia in 1984. Board certified in internal medicine and practicing integrative medicine in St. Louis for last 20 years. He served 25 years as a medical officer and retired as a full colonel from the US Army Reserve. His military experiences in parasite treatment in Bolivia led to publishing a groundbreaking book, Accidental Cure.
