We will identify the optimal physiological, mental, emotional, and spiritual conditions needed for couples to conceive a healthy, happy baby. We will also review what the epigenetic research shows regarding the prenatal origins of autism. In addition, we will reveal a grand theory for autism prevention before conception, and discuss the etiology and progression of autism over the last 60 years.

People with autism often have auditory processing deficits, and may exhibit hypersensitivities to sound. Auditory processing affects attention, learning, communication, self regulation, and social engagement; and those with auditory hypersensitivities have negative “fight/flight” reactions to sound. This talk will explore using acoustically-modified music for facilitation of brain plasticity, improved auditory processing, and reduction of emotional stress responses to sound.
Alex founded and is CEO of Advanced Brain Technologies (The Listening Program®). He is author of Healing at the Speed of Sound®, is published in several autism publications including Autism Science Digest; advises Autism Hope Alliance, Sensory Star, and Autism Brainstorm, and has trained thousands of health, mental health, education, and music professionals worldwide as providers of The Listening Program.

With proper intervention—physical, nutritional, neurodevelopmental, medicinal and environmental—your child's future can be full of opportunities instead of obstacles.

In spite of the evidence disputing the benefits of the flu vaccines hospitals, schools and state legislators around the nation have been implementing flu vaccine mandates for employees, under threat of termination. This includes everyone working for the hospital, whether they have patient contact or not. This is only the tip of the iceberg. The CDC plans to revaccinate all children and adults; hospital workers just have the misfortune of being at the top of the list.
C. Rick Ellis, EdD

We have demonstrated unique acyl-carnitine abnormalities in a subset of children with autism who have abnormalities in mitochondrial function and glutathione metabolism. These abnormalities parallel unique abnormalities found in a rodent model of autism resulting from the exposure to PPA. This presentation will demonstrate the parallels between these children with autism and the PPA animal model.
Both mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress has been shown to affect a significant subset of children with autism. We have demonstrated unique interactions between mitochondria and oxidative stress in a subset of children with autism with relatively low-function. In addition, we have demonstrated how certain treatments can improve mitochondrial function in cell lines with this profile of mitochondrial dysfunction.
