Adult Residential Panel: Moving Mountains

This panel is a gathering of parents and professionals who have effectively created a successful housing task force, changed waiver language, accessed tax credit dollars or housing subsidies, and/or successfully created affordable living environments for special needs and autism communities. The panel will also present the specific successes of the Myers Place project in Mt. Pleasant, IL, a mixed-use supportive housing development for individuals with disabilities. This new construction project featured 39 furnished apartments, as well as a community room, kitchen, laundry facilities, and offices for case managers.
