Bike ride for autism

Four years ago Autism One contracted with the small company Zenworks Productions of Southern California to handle video recording of all conference presentations. Not only did ZenWorks (www.ZenworksProductions.com) do a great job for us but the owner Steven Janak became a valuable AutismOne team member contributing in numerous areas.

One of 24-year old Steven’s passions is biking, an activity he has pursued since age five. He was not alone in his biking as regular bike trips were on the family outing agenda. He currently does 50-60 mile rides in the Los Angeles area regularly. For some time now he has felt the desire to complete a long, multiple-day ride. So recently the inspiration came: do a West Coast to East Cost journey to promote awareness of autism in general and AutismOne in particular. After discussion with AutismOne team members and consultation with veteran distance riders he decided to do a “warm-up” ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. His current plans are to depart San Francisco in late September and ride the coastal route south. His goal is to complete the ride in 5 days.

We are proud to have you as a member of our team, Steve. Have a great trip.
