Chelation! DMSA

Hello everyone my name is Lucy I am new here and would love to get to know more parents, hear about your success stories and learn and maybe even teach others what I have learned! Today I want to hear from other parents who have done chelation using DMSA, I just got done with Peanut's first round and will start back up this Saturday the 1st. I have noticed some mild regression which I heard was normal and expected, not fun but what can you do right. Anyways please tell me your experiences with DMSA I want to know if what I am seeing is typical, if I should do or give an extra supplement while chelating or just keep things the same.

Again thank you all for your support!

I Am doing DMSA by mouth, and I have to say that I did see about 3-4 days where he wasn't using his signs as much but that is completely gone. He is using his signs again and today he even signed dog, and said mooooo while singing and animal song!!!! I'm so happy about his progress, I just know this new year will bring my son back 100%

Lorna after how many rounds of DMSA did u see or notice Improvement?
Which method did u use?

DMSA

How are you giving him the DMSA? by mouth? suppository? how? His regression may be his gut acting up if you are giving it by mouth. We saw a little maybe a day or two of stimming but that was it. then we saw good things!
