NAA Safety Track Discussion and Q&A
NAA's Executive Director, Lori McIlwain will lead a discussion and Q&A session on Autism Safety. Topics will include communicating with your local first responders, advocating for Project Lifesaver and LoJack SafetyNet services in your community, adding safety-related procedures and special modifications to your child's IEP, and more.

Lori has a twelve-year-old son with autism and is Co-founder and Chairperson of the National Autism Association (NAA). In 2009, Lori began advocating for federal laws that would eliminate abusive restraint and seclusion practices in public and private schools. Through NAA, she has launched multiple public service campaigns to advocate for federal regulations, teacher/aide training, parent education, and classroom monitoring.
