The Swiss Protocol™: An integrated protocol for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders

We describe an integrated protocol, The Swiss Protocol™ based on recent knowledge on the human microbiome (also known as “The Third Brain.” We developed a natural food product that can be considered a daily transplantation of the third brain. This food significantly improved the ability to learn and perform difficult tasks at the same time reducing anxiety. Implementation of the protocol led to significant results in the majority of autistic subjects. In some notable cases, reported in the popular press, full clinical recovery with the return to a completely normal life was observed.
