Thunderstorms Senstitvity
Hello People.....
I am new here.....I am raising a topic about hypersensitivity in the ears. Mine is in the ears....Every time there is a chance of a thunderstorm happening I dread it. Because of that low frequency drone that it makes before a storm arrives. If it bad enough I get unwell all over. Too crook to get out bed and dizzy.
Plus I do not only see lightning I feel it, my hair feels as thought it standing on end and I get prickly sensation running down my spine. Most the time I don't see it, I hear it before I see it as make a "electrical crackle or zapping noise". I freak out that.......not unless I am wearing my industrial ear muffs.
Those muffs automatic knock 30 decibels of normal sound whist been worn.....not practical was walking around traffic or in the street. Cat and Dog go nuts when there's a storm so I guess they can pick the sound like I can to a greater degree. That frequencies cycles rang must be going so fast if a man or women can't hear it. Same with traffic lights, although the car's motor's on I can clearly hear the circuity in light changes when green goes to red etc.
When weather changes and pressure is messing me hearing the foreground noise often clashes background and really hurts my ears to go without muffs on my ears and if I remove em it all sound one great big babble! In times when weather effecting my ears I have wear my furry muffs......But I sure cope some stupid looks or weird stares from people in the street!

Noise intergration
No. I haven;t heard of noise integration...... I had a nasty experience when I was young, I nearly got hit by lightning. Not once, but twice! So much for the theory that lightning does not strike in one place twice!!! Blow that theory, from my experience have made me a skeptic of that theory!
