Using the AutismOne social network
- Sign up for your profile by clicking here.
- Your login information will be sent to the email you use, you can then log in and start filling out your profile*.
- Go to http://www.autismone.org/user to log in.
- Once logged in, look on the right sidebar. You will see your profile picture, My Profile and My User Menu. These are the main links you will need to fill-out your profile and utilize the social network.
My Profile: This is where you change your username, password, profile picture, and fill-out your profile information. Once you click 'My Profile" you will see tabs for various functions like view, bookmarks, edit, friends and twitter. The 'Edit' tab offers your account info and profile fields.
My User Menu: This is where your social networking features are such as community, reading your messages, posting pictures, blogs, creating groups and more. The 'Add a new family member to my profile' is a special area to add family and friends to your profile that can't maintain their own profiles.This feature is especially offered for you to introduce others on the autism spectrum to AutismOnes unique social networking site.
- Now you can get the support you need! The community tab highlights our team members, mentors, partners and other community members. If you can't find the information you are looking for or need support, ask a mentor what to do next. If you really feel lost, please feel free ask anyone on the help page for assistance, click here.
