I am thankful for My faith, AutismOne, and the freedoms we enjoy in the United States. Autism Action Answers

I have begged pleaded & acted out. To rally a group that is exhausted, no resources, and is at wits end is quite a challenge. I am thankful for My faith, AutismOne, and the freedoms we enjoy in the United States. Let me say I am sorry for this post may not be my most eloquent or well formatted. I am just speaking to you from the heart. I am up again, with a bruised rib where Tanner decided to use me as a trampoline. Enjoying my coffee, the crickets sound from the fog covered bean field, and letting the fingers fly.

Trace Amounts (movie)

From www.TraceAmounts.com

During the past 20 years, the frequency of autism occurring in children has skyrocketed from 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 68, and the scientific community is no closer to determining a cause. Trace Amounts is the true story of Eric Gladen’s painful journey through mercury poisoning that he believes resulted from a thimerosal-loaded tetanus shot. His discoveries led him on a quest for the scientific truth about the role of mercury poisoning in the Autism epidemic.

Part Three: The Role of Viral Infection

Power Point Presentation By: Dr. Amy Yasko she believes that autism is a multifactorial condition. Predisposing genetics along with infectious disease burden the body (virus/bacteria) and combined with environmental toxins (mercury, aluminum, lead) play a role in the development and the severity of autism. When these infectious microbes are addressed, Dr. Yasko is able to demonstrate the excretion of large amounts of toxic metals.

An Update On Congress, Autism and the VICP

On November 29, 2012, Congress held the first hearing on autism in 10 years. It was a momentous day for our community and it has been said that more hearings will come. In addition, this year the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) compensated two new cases for children who developed autism. The members of our panel are some of the many people who have been on the frontlines to witness and to fight for these small victories in Washington. They will be giving an update on what they have been working on and what they see in the future from Congress and from the VICP.

He will also review approaches and strategies for children who are slow to respond to treatment or are non-responders, including the management of subclinical seizures, the glutamate/GABA brain ratio, brain autoimmunity findings, and chronic GI Clostridia.

Age of Autism The Year in Review

Join the Age of Autism team and special guest EPA whistleblower Dr. David Lewis for a discussion of Institutional Research Misconduct: The Autism Researcher's Worst Nightmare. Dr. Lewis’ cutting edge scientific research forced the EPA to abandon its policy of promoting the land application of sewage sludge on farm land. He is an internationally recognized research microbiologist who discovered that the AIDS virus could be transmitted by certain types of dental equipment that dentists share between patients.

Improvement in Biological Indicators in Autism

Power Point Presentation By: Robert Nataf, MD.

The Urinary Porphyrin Profile has been used to assess environmental toxicity in autistic
children with significant issues through elevations of mercury responsive metabolites,
pentacarboxy, precopro and coproporphyrin. Growing evidence supports usefulness
of the urinary porphyrin profile in monitoring of chelation therapy effectiveness, by
showing
in ¾ of cases real reduction in porphyrinuria and not rarely drastic drop in
mercury
compounds, translated in speech and behaviour improvement.

Injecting Sense

The first installment of Injecting Sense features an interview with Dan Olmsted and Mark Blaxill, authors of The Age of Autism: Mercury, Medicine, and a Man-Made Epidemic.

The First Dads of Autism: Life Lessons and Early Patterns from the Leo Kanner’s First 11 Fathers

Interesting patterns of father’s experiences in autism were set at the outset of the Age of Autism and have included abandonment, avoidance, anger and advocacy. Taking a historical perspective on the first fathers of the autism epidemic, this discussion will reflect on the lessons for the fathers in the epidemic period of autism.
