Steven's Ride
In late September Steven Janak, one of our members and our videographer, made a bike trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Since he lives in Los Angeles he made the trip north via United Airlines with his bike checked as luggage. Much to his chagrin the airline would not permit him to bring his beloved bike onboard as carry-on. So he was forced to endure the flight with the knowledge that “poor bikey” was alone in the cargo hold. Upon reaching San Francisco he and the bike were reunited whereby they spent the day touring the City. His ride down the Pacific coast covered 7 exhilarating days. Days that he states he will never forget. Why does anyone put themselves through something like that? Steven’s answer was “First, to do it; second, to gain experience for my planned AutismOne promotional West coast to East coast ride next year.” Steven says he is currently busy planning the exact route and is giving thought to the best dates.
