Let me extend to you my personal welcome to our AutismOne Social Network. AutismOne is now the “one-stop-shopping center” for information about autism. We have the annual conference in Chicago, AutismOne radio, the Elizabeth Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy, the AutismOne Social Network and the AutismOne Store.

A Little About Me: 

Hello fellow Autism Worlders,
I look forward to meeting many new people. I am the proud mother of 4 kids, they will be 7,7,6,and 5 this year. That is getting easier to say then 2,2,1 and newborn :). I am blessed beyond belief! I love my life, even with its very crazy, wild challenges.

Why I am a Part of the AutismOne Community: 

My twins are both on the spectrum. I believe in what AutismOne is doing for the individuals that are affected, and effected by autism one. Which pretty soon will be everyone. Everyone will know someone with Autism. AustismOne has a huge mission ahead of them. Besides my children, I want to learn as much as possible to help other families. It could be working with a family on a consulting level, or giving autism a voice while appreciating the humor that can come out of dealing with situations that arise in the face of Autism.

What I am Here For: 
I am here to learn, to network, and to form friendships. I am never going to stop educating myself, and I will never believe I have all the answers.
My Daily Motivations: 

The Lord Jesus Christ is the reason I open my eyes each day. Without this my life would not be one to jump out of bed for each day.

Help Needed: 
The current help I need is learning ways to afford the treatments I believe could help my children. I qualify for nothing, but there still has to be ways.
Help to Give: 

Mentoring, support, honest friendships. Laughter-it is so good for the body and soul. Life is hard but there is still humor to be found.

Activities: 
Laundry, Laundry,Laundry...okay so that is what I do the most. I cook, clean up thrown stuff, wash colored walls.
Hobbies: 
Homeschooling crocheting gardening beating anyone brave enough to play me at cards, or Sorry. you know you want to try to beat me, oh sorry you won't online classes, and trainings
Books / Magazines: 
I read everything, and often. I read a book about every two days. Love book recommendations so please pm them to me
Music: 
I love anything from the Gaithers to Toby Mac. I however try to be careful the words I think upon are postive.
TV Shows: 
We have no TV, but I like House on DVD.
Personal Heroes: 
My husbands grandma GG, and my grandma Mutt. These are two people that walked through life helping others, believing in others, and forming real relationships. They gave there all to people, with out care if they could return the giving. This is the way people with autism should be treated!
