Let me extend to you my personal welcome to our AutismOne Social Network. AutismOne is now the “one-stop-shopping center” for information about autism. We have the annual conference in Chicago, AutismOne radio, the Elizabeth Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy and now the AutismOne Social Network (and more to come).
Thank you for filling in your profile entries as these help people with common interests find you.
Helping you interact with others is one of the many things we can do for you. Now here’s something you can do for us. Log in on a regular basis and read the blogs and articles then write a blog yourself. It can be on any subject of interest to you, preferably with some relevance to autism but not necessarily. It can be short or long, whatever it takes for you to express your thoughts. If you have a question then ask it in a blog--people read then they respond. If you see something with which you agree or disagree then please add a comment with your thoughts. This is an open community designed to help and support. We like to hear all sides.
I am looking forward to reading your opinions in future blogs and/or articles.
With my best regards
Will Price, CFO

Occupation:

A Little About Me:

I have worked with children's behavior disorders since med school 14 yrs ago. I am continually amazed at how Homeopathy can transform a child so quickly. "Ritalin Free Kids" was one of my first inspirations, and the lectures I attended it my Naturopathic school were outstanding. Dr Doris Rapp was an inspiration for me because she was from Buffalo, and was a rebel in the field a medicine. She still is an inspiration and now we are able to work together.

Why I am a Part of the AutismOne Community:

The Western New York and Southern Ontario region is tremendously underserved in many areas of medicine. I wanted to dedicate myself to the region and provide as much cutting edge treatment as possible to the area. Filling the need for services for Autism is not easy. It is illegal in New York to run certain tests, like hair analysis and stool analysis. Many conservative MD's don't support my profession which is floundering in its efforts for licensure. So Ontario became my alternate office. It is a samll border town, more under served even than Buffalo is. There are parents who have absolutely no idea there is treatment for their child! I want them to find me!!

What I am Here For:
I am here to cure these children. Plain and simple. I am frustrated with the belief that nothing can be done for these children. I see parents who were told their child was beyond help. I see kids that were always in remedial classes be placed into regular classes. Parents often say "my child changed right before my eyes".
Autism Help / Accomplishments:

Have recently completed a study of ten autistic children, which will be published shortly. Have been an advocate of Environmental Medicine and Allergies and the work of Dr. Doris Rapp

My Daily Motivations:

Medicine is my motivation.
Practicing is my motivation.
I absolutely love what I do and I want to do until I leave this earth.

Goals:
To get licensure for Naturopathic Doctors in NY so many ND's will come to my great state for work with these children. To do my very best for every child and aid the family in what ever needs they have. I hope to bring non-profits and volunteers together to help these families.
Help Needed:
Much help is needed by me in this region! Any and all support is welcome. Pioneers get lonely a lot! Testimonials and parent networks from other areas to interface with families form this area so they can believe that there really is help for them and they can trust this profession and this treatment.
Personal Heroes:
Dr Doris Rapp Dr Mary Catalano Dr Judith Ulman Dr Andre Saine
