Carrie,
I just start uploading video today on Individualized Educational Programs. The information is given from both a lawyer's and mother's perspective and I think it is a great to find out everything that is truly available to help our children. As we are putting together this website to support parents in advocating for their children, please let me know if there is any type of content you feel is particularly relevant.

A Little About Me:

I am a mom to 2 beautiful daughters, and a wife to an amazing husband. I recently decided to go back to school to become a speech pathologist so I can help my daughter as well as other families. I LOVE horseback riding, road trips, camping, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Part of the AutismOne Community:

I have the hopes of recovering my daughter from autism. We've accomplished a lot in the past year, but we still have a long way to go.

What I am Here For:
I am looking forward to networking with other parents, especially those in my area.
Autism Help / Accomplishments:

The GFCFSF diet was HUGE for our daughter. We recently switched from the MB12 injections to the RevitaPOP MB12 lollipop... MB12 makes all the difference in the world for her. It's like night & day.

My Daily Motivations:

My daughters are my motivation. I want the best for them, and all I truly want is for them to lead healthy, happy lives. Because of them I continue to strive to be the best that I can be.

Goals:
- Recover my daughter from autism - Get my Masters Degree in Speech Pathology - Help other families facing the daily trials that autism brings
Help Needed:
I'm still trying to decide the best educational approach to take for my daughter. Do I just stick with ABA? Is a private school going to be much better than what the school districts can offer? Or should we just continue with our in-home ABA program? What about Son-Rise? SCERTS? PRT? RDI? DIR? There are so many different therapies/approaches... how will I ever know if we are implementing the most effective treatments?
Help to Give:

I can offer an open heart, eager ear, and talkative tongue. :) I'm here to just listen if someone needs to vent or cry. I've spent countless hours researching everything autism, and would be happy to share what I've learned.
