About Me
After spending way too long at university collecting degrees, I moved to the US from the UK. I'm now a mum to Tom, now 4, who was diagnosed with autism at 2 and wife to Jeff, an Air Force officer. We've been stationed all over the US and hoping to stay in Colorado for a while. We're an outdoorsy family and all enjoy skiing, hiking, fishing and Tom and I are learning to ice-skate.
After Tom's diagnosis with moderate-severe autism at age 2 I wasn't ready to accept such a dire prognosis. In 2 years he has achieved so much with our holistic approach to his health. He's verbal, potty-trained, social and healthy and the future is filled with hope.
Autism One has given me support, friends, resources and an outlet. I'm thrilled to be associated with people who genuinely care about our kids and want their futures to be bright and our own lives as parents to be better.
I love that as the Silent Auction Coordinator I can help fund raise for such an amazing cause.
