The Science Behind Dr. Wakefield
I have just watched the Sunday Morning Today Show segment previewing the interview with Dr.Andrew Wakefield and Dr. Paul Offitt. Matt Lauer gave the impression that there is no science that has been published supporting Dr. Wakefield's hypothesis in the ten years since it was published in the Lancet. He gave the initial impression that no one other than Dr. Wakefield has worked on this hypothesis.

VACCINES AND AUTISM
For many years there has been a lot of discussion of the possible causative effects of the childhood vaccines. Much of the focus of past years has been on the issue of thimerosal, a preservative agent used in the vaccines. I think one of the main confusions at this point is the apparent inability of those viewing the argument, from either side, to separate the issues of thimerosal and the 'vaccines' themselves.
Turning over the right stone on vaccinations
After viewing the recent Hearing on Autism Research, it raised in my mind a very logical question regarding vaccinations. Out of all of the research done no study has directly compared the prevalence of Autism between vaccinated and unvaccinated children. We have been hovering over the issue of vaccinations in connection to Autism for a long time. I feel that this issue does need to be definitively put to rest.
