Meet Dustin Nunn, Author, Cartoonist, Adult with Autism
We're happy to introduce you to Dustin Nunn, a twenty year old author and cartoonist in Marietta, Ohio who also happens to be an adult with autism. A loyal A of A reader (shout out to AK!) sent us a link to Dustin's site. We hope you'll buy a copy of his book HERE. You see, at Age of Autism, "awareness" didn't end on April 30th, nor does support within our community.

It has now been 3 days since the conference and I am still at a loss for words. I had the opportunity to meet so many great parents, families, doctors, and people involved in the lives of our children.

I want to personally thank Ed and Teri. Thank you for this incredible opportunity, I am so blessed to be apart of Autism One and hope that I can continue to bring my expertise to the families of Autism One.

Well I am back home from A1. Happy to see my son - who grew a wonderful yeast farm in his gut while we were gone - and happy to be back to our garden.

With planting in full swing, A1 couldn't occur at a worst time of year for me. This year with Memorial Day falling a week earlier things were even worse - gardenwise. One week makes a big difference.

I just posted this to my public blog. Although I’m not sure I’ll be cross-posting that much, I thought it might be appropriate in this case.

I truly enjoyed meeting many of you face-to-face at A-1. Being there, among people like you, is always a privilege. I wish we would have talked more. But then again, that’s what this network is for.

We are the people of action and hope.

It is both an honor and a privilege to be one of the bloggers for the Autism One community and readers as I have been actively engaged in my local autism community for nine years now.
