Genetics and Immunomodulation

Join Dr. Kendra Becker-Musante to take a look at the immune system and its role in many aspects of a human body. Genetics play a large role in how our systems react to foreign invaders, or worse create reactions to "self." Individuals affected by autism spectrum disorders by and large have a misdirected immunologic responses. Understanding the intricacies of the immune system, the genetics that predispose reactions and the environmental modulators that trigger an imbalance, targeted healing and recovery can happen. Without addressing immune system aberrancies and methylation challenges recovery can take much longer.
