Repaving a Road to Resilience after an Autism Diagnosis

Autism is a complex, multifactorial disorder with outcomes that are unique to the individual. There is a tendency to get caught up in the vicious cycle of symptom management, long-term restrictive diets, conflicting health advice and the endless list of supplements and therapies that promise to end your child’s suffering once and for all. Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of trauma, significant sources of stress, illness, or other factors. It means "bouncing back" from difficult experiences. Learn how to identify the key areas of dysfunction in your child and ways to restore the foundation of optimal health that supports your child’s innate capacity to heal and persevere.
